The Working Group at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) created the PHIL to offer access to the CDC's pictures. Please review copyright requirements prior to use.

To check copyright requirements, first search for the image or topic of interest. Select Tools in the menu bar and then select Usage Rights. Select Creative Commons license which will filter to the images available for use.

NLM digital projects are curated to highlight subjects and historical time periods. These are all available for public access, but please check copyright requirements prior to use.
