How to find full text on your own: Home

Follow these steps to find full text on your own.

Finding Full Text

There are multiple avenues to download full text articles purchased by IH and managed by Library Services.

  1. BrowZine takes you to all of our purchased journals. You can search by subject or by journal title.
  2. PMID or DOI: If you know the PMID or DOI for the article you can drop it in this search box and see if full text is available. If we don't have access you can request it in the citation record with the linked form.
  3. Database Searching: Library Services purchases databases that will link out to full text included in the database package.
  4. Library Catalogs: If the article you are interested in does not link out to full text, copy the article title and paste it into the library catalog.  The library catalog links article titles to full text or provides the option to request a copy if there is not full-text via purchased resources.
  5. Websites which have full text linking activated: Google Scholar and PubMed both link to full text if you are on an IH campus computer, logged into Zscaler on your assigned IH device, or logged on to citrix at home on a personal device.
  6. Ordering Articles: if you cannot find the full text of the article you are interested in, or do not have time to find full text, use our Ask A Librarian request form.  The box expands to hold all of your citations.
